What Does It Mean If Someone Requests to Audit Me?

Modified on Tue, Oct 6 at 4:23 PM

An auditor is someone for whom a learner’s success in a Modern States course matters. They may be monitoring a learner’s progress in order to be able to provide encouragement, support, or tutoring.

You control who sees your progress data. When someone asks to audit you, you'll get a notification the next time you log in, with three options:

-Approve lets the auditor see your progress data.

-Decline keeps the auditor from seeing your data.

-Snooze puts off the decision, and the request will appear again later.

You must pick one of these options before you can use the rest of the platform.

On an annual basis, all audit relationships will be terminated and you'll need to review and act on those relationships again.
