Step 2: Understanding the Modern States Concept
- Modern States follows a simple "Learn-Test-Earn" model:
- Learn: Choose from our library of 32 free courses.
- Test: Take quizzes and final exams to demonstrate your knowledge.
- Earn: Score 75% or higher to become eligible for a free CLEP exam voucher. Pass your CLEP exam to earn college credit accepted at nearly 3000 institutions nationwide.

Step 3: Navigating the Homepage
- The homepage is your central hub for Modern States courses. Here's how to navigate:
- To return to the homepage: Click the Modern States logo in the top left corner.
- To access your courses: Click the Course Selector icon (also called "the waffle") in the upper right corner.
- To manage your account: Click your name in the top right corner for profile and account settings.

- To start learning:
- On the homepage, find and click the "Enroll" button in the navigation bar.
- Browse the course catalog and select your desired course(s).
- Click "Enroll" to immediately begin. You can enroll in multiple courses and take them concurrently or one at a time.

- Each course follows a similar structure:
- Start with the overview page for general course information.
- Use the table of contents to move through different sections.
