Understanding Your Class Progress in Modern States

Welcome to the Modern States Class Progress guide! As you embark on your learning journey, it's important to understand how to track your progress and stay motivated. Modern States provides a comprehensive Class Progress section for each course, designed to give you a clear picture of your advancement and engagement.

By understanding these metrics, you'll be able to monitor your learning journey effectively, ensuring you're on track to complete your course and prepare for your CLEP exam.

Let's dive into each component to help you make the most of your Modern States experience!

Each course in Modern States includes a Class Progress section with the following components:

• Grades
  • Displays your overall grade as a percentage of the number of correct answers out of all available questions. See "Quizzes" for your current score of correct answers out of completed questions.
• Content
  • Topics Visited: Tracks which modules you've accessed
    • Getting Started
    • All Course Materials
    • Module videos
    • Quizzes
    • Final Exam
    • CLEP Voucher Request
    • Next Steps for College Credit
  • Total Visits: Number of times you've accessed course content
  • Time Spent: Total time engaged with course materials
• Quizzes
  • Shows your current score of correct score out of completed questions
  • Displays percentage of quizzes completed
• Course Access
  • Number of days you've visited the course
  • Helps track your engagement over time
• System Access History
  • Number of days you've logged into the Modern States platform
  • Indicates your overall platform activity
  • This progress tracking helps you monitor your learning journey and ensures you're on track to complete the course and prepare for your CLEP exam.

This guide will walk you through the various components of the Class Progress section, including:

1. Click a menu item to review the following items:

• Grades: Your overall performance
• Content: What you've accessed and time spent
• Quizzes: Your completion rate and average scores
• Course Access: Your engagement over time
• System Access History: Your overall platform activity

2. View the current Calculated Final Grade of all graded items in the course.

3. Click Expand icon to view details of your progress within each category.
