• Set password via email

• Log in at modernstates.org

2. Enroll

• Browse 32 course options

• Select and enroll in one or more course(s)

3. Learn

• Watch video lessons with transcripts

• Complete all "Check for Understanding" quizzes

• Unlock the Final Exam with an average score of 75% or higher

4. Track Your Progress

• Monitor grades and content visited

• View time spent and quiz scores

• Check course and system access history 

5. Build Your Support Team (Approve Auditors)

• Approve, decline, or snooze auditor requests

• Reset of auditors yearly in an automatic review

6. Test: Ace the Final Exam

• Complete a 90-minute exam (similar to CLEP exam format)

• Score 75% or higher to receive your CLEP voucher

• Unlimited Final Exam attempts allowed

• Earn your Award Badge upon passing

• Use your Award Badge to request a free CLEP voucher

7. Request CLEP Voucher

• Submit your Award Badge URL here - it’s free!

8. Prepare for CLEP Exam

• Register and pay for CLEP exam using voucher here

• Find a test center here

• Review list of required items to bring on test day here

9. Take CLEP Exam

• Complete exam at testing location

• Receive your score

• Request Test Center Reimbursement here to receive a check in the mail.

10. Earn College Credit

• Find colleges accepting CLEP credits here - or Google “[Name of College]” CLEP

• Apply CLEP transfer credits to your degree program and maximize tuition savings
