Free Tutoring With UPchieve

High school learners can get free, on-demand, 1:1 help from a trained tutor through our nonprofit partner, UPchieve. Sign up with UPchieve, make a help request, and get matched in under 5 minutes with a patient and friendly tutor.

Who is eligible?

Through our partnership, all Modern States learners ages 13 to 18 are eligible for UPchieve. There is no application and no cost. Please use the link inside your Modern States course to access UPchieve for free.

What courses does UPchieve support?

UPchieve provides tutoring in 30+ courses, plus college coaching. Tutors can support these specific Modern States courses:

Biology
Calculus
Precalculus
Psychology
U.S. Government & Politics
U.S. History (I and II)

How to sign up

Open your Modern States course and find the Free Online Tutoring Support with UPchieve unit near the top of the table of contents. Click Access Free Tutoring to sign up for free on-demand tutoring.

Each course has its own tutoring link, so please start from inside the course you are studying rather than going to the UPchieve website directly.

How to get help

Once you've made an account on UPchieve, you can access tutoring 24/7 on their app, until you graduate high school. There are no limits on the amount of sessions you can have! Use UPchieve to review confusing concepts, work through practice problems, and gain confidence to take your exam.
